Question by ago9881: what is the amunt of gold in 10 oz bars that a non resident can bring into the u.s.a. as a tourist?
i have 3 bars i would like to take.....

With the currency declaration requirements in effect, 1 bar is probably all you can bring in without declaring them. As long as you fill out the proper declaration forms showing how and where you obtained them and what you are going to do with them, you could probably bring in the 3 you have.
